Bicyclist Struck, suspect still at large

The Emmet County Sheriff's Office is asking the public for help locating a vehicle that struck a bicyclist Saturday evening.

According to Emmet County Sheriff Mike Martens, the sheriff's office received a report of a traffic accident involving a bicyclist that had been struck by a vehicle
on 170th Street West of Armstrong at 6:06pm. Upon investigation at the scene by the sheriff's office it was determined that a westbound bicycle was struck by a vehicle traveling the same direction on 170th street and continued westbound without stopping after striking the bicyclist.

The bicyclist, Gary Isenberg age (71) of Swea City was treated on the scene and then transported to the Fairmont Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries by the Armstrong Ambulance Service.

The suspect vehicle is believed to be a light colored 2005-2010 Chevrolet Cobalt that is missing the passenger side rear view mirror and was being driven by a female with blonde hair and approximately 20 years of age.

If anyone has information about the identity of the driver or the vehicle you are asked to contact the Emmet County Sheriff's Office at 712-362-2639 your identity is not necessary.
