Absentee Ballots Available

If you would like to vote early or vote at home for the June 5, 2018 Primary Election - ballots are available at the Auditor’s Office beginning Monday, May 7th, 2018. Voting can be done in person at the Auditor’s Office from 8:00 to 4:30 Monday through Friday.
To have a ballot sent to you the following information must be provided in writing to the Auditor’s Office:

Voter’s name
Voter’s registration address
Iowa Driver’s License, Non-operator’s number of Voter ID PIN is required
Voter’s date of birth
Address to which the ballot should be sent (if different from the voter’s registration address) Date and/or name of election for which the voter is requesting a ballot.
Voter’s signature

The information can be submitted on your own paper or an official absentee ballot request form can be obtained from the Auditor’s Office or on line at, Site Navigation, Auditor’s office, click on absentee ballot. Completed requests must be received in the Auditor’s office by Friday, June 1, 2018 A ballot will be mailed to you and must be returned to the Auditor’s Office.
Any voter who is physically unable to enter a polling place either to absentee or on Election Day has the right to vote in the voter’s vehicle.
