Absentee Ballots Available

ABSENTEE BALLOTS - AVAILABILITY

If you would like to vote early or vote at home for the June 27, 2017 City of Armstrong Special Election To Fill the Vacancy of Council Person - ballots are available at the Auditorís Office beginning June 9, 2017. Voting can be done in person at the Auditorís Office from 8:00 to 4:30 Monday through Friday.

To have a ballot sent to you the following information must be provided in writing to the Auditorís Office:
Voterís name
Voterís registration address
Voterís date of birth
Address to which the ballot should be sent (if different from the voterís registration address)
Date and/or name of election for which the voter is requesting a ballot.
Voterís signature
The information can be submitted on your own paper or an official absentee ballot request form can be obtained from the Auditorís Office or on line at www.emmetcountyia.com Site Navigation, Auditorís office, click on absentee ballot. Completed requests must be received in the Auditorís office by Friday, June 23rd, 2017. A ballot will be mailed to you and must be returned to the Auditorís Office.

Any voter who is physically unable to enter a polling place either to absentee or on Election Day has the right to vote in the voterís vehicle.
