Red Wing Crocks are part of fundraising efforts
As part of the fundraising efforts by the Quasuicentennial committee, a line of red Wing Crocks are available for purchase.
There are three different crocks available to purchase. The cream can utensil crock is a nice size to store your kitchen utensils on the counter or put some fresh cut flowers in this summer. The coffee mug is a 12 oz. mug with a nice place for your thumb on the handle. A toothpick holder is also available. All crocks will have the Quasquicentenial logo on one side and the Red Wing logo on the other. The cream can and coffee mug will have a black band painted on the rim. Cost for the crocks are: Cream Can - $25, Mug - $20, Toothpick Holder - $15. Only 100 of these will be sold.
A raffle will also be held for a special item - a 1/2 gallon crock with a lid that will be hand painted with the train depot photo on one side and the Red Wing logo on the other side. This one-of-a-kind crock will be raffled off following the parade on the Fourth of July in the City Park. Tickets are $1each or 6 for $5 and can be purchased from many businesses in town, ABC board member, or ABC Quasqui fundraising committee members - Paul and Connie Stevens, Vic Rooney, Tom and Lisa Hansen.
To place orders for any of the three crocks contact Lisa Hansen at 712-260-2671. Payment is required for the pre-order and the crocks are expected to be delivered mid-June.
