The gluten-free Caramel Chocolate Chip cookie will debut during the 2019 Cookie Program.
After the Armstrong City Council met to discuss garbage fees Monday night, Councilmember Dan Moore said he wants to look at the yearly revenue rate before moving forward. “If necessary, rates may increase,” said Moore, adding that he wants to make sure “the rates are on a level playing field.”
One of the new faces the students will see at the North Union Elementary - Fenton Campus will be first grade teacher Darcie Wirth. Many will recognize her as the former Kossuth County Extension Director.
Students at the North Union Middle School in Swea City will be greeted by a new face this August. Nicole Fisher will be the new Middle School Special Education teacher. An Algona High School graduate, Nicole, was an undergraduate at Warburg College before graduating from Morningside College.
Hello! Yes, it’s me, I’m still around, and I apologize for the radio silence! It’s not that I have been particularly rushed off my feet, more that I haven’t felt the urge to write- possibly because now we are settled back in the UK, it doesn’t seem that interesting as it’s so familiar!
“Back to School” time is here. You can feel it in the air, as the humidity level doesn’t seem as high, and the nights are pleasantly cool. The colors of the flowers appear more vivid, as they flourish in the ideal weather conditions.
