In response to the letter to the editor published on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 the Armstrong City Council Finance Committee held a committee meeting at the Armstrong Community Center.
After significant deliberation, the Emmet County Board of Supervisors at their weekly meeting Tuesday, Feb. 11 reappointed Roxanne Christensen weed commissioner.

No. 3 Bulldogs too much for Warriors After an upset loss on Friday that cost them a piece of the conference title, third-ranked Lake Mills took out their frustrations on the North Union Warriors boys basketball team in Armstrong on Monday, Feb. 10 in a 102-36 Top of Iowa Conference win over the green-black-and-silver.
Chloe Lofstrom poured in 24 points and May Laverty added 16 more to lead the North Union Warriors girls basketball squad to a 65-48 Top of Iowa Conference victory over the Lake Mills Bulldogs on Feb. 10 in Armstrong.
