Vera Calista (Quinn) Hupp, was born on July 13, 1943, in Lone Rock, Iowa, to Bernard and Vera (Wolf) Quinn. Vera passed away on Monday, April 24, 2017, at the Mayo Health System in Mankato, Minnesota, at the age of 73.

She attended and graduated from Armstrong High School. Vera also attended Mankato State University. She was then employed at the University of Minnesota. Vera was united in marriage to Jerry Hupp on July 1, 1967. The couple made their home in Swea City, Iowa, where they began raising their family. Vera was employed at the Armstrong Journal for many years. Vera and Jerry later relocated to Mankato to be closer to their children. In her leisure time Vera enjoyed baking, reading and cross-stitching.

She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary in Swea City.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband Jerry of Mankato; her sons Jay (Sherri) Hupp of Mankato and Pat (Roxanne) Hupp of Apple Valley, Minnesota; three grandchildren, Jacob, Cole, Claire Hupp; and her siblings: Agnes Whitlow of Iowa City, IA, Patricia Andrade of Newport, RI, Rosemary Faber of Des Moines, IA, Allan Quinn of Fairmont, MN, Rachael Gidion of Ottumwa, IA, and Emmet Quinn of Estherville, IA.

Vera is preceded in death by her parents, Bert and Vera.
