Leo Joseph Bradley, Jr, was born on March 16, 1961, in Estherville, Iowa to Leo and Bernice (Plath) Bradley. He passed away on January 27, 2023, at his home in Armstrong at the age of 61 years.

Leo graduated from Armstrong High School and attended college at Dakota State College in Madison, South Dakota. In 1984 he began his truck driving career for Larry Baarts, he continued to drive for him until 2006. At that time, he began his career with B&B Trucking. He drove for them for 16 years, until he was just recently forced to retire in August of 2022 due to health issues.

While on the first date with Sherry (Ward) Bradley in 2000, Leo opened his fortune cookie and it said, “the love of your life is sitting across the table from you.” The fortune came true, and the couple was married in 2004 in Armstrong. Together they enjoyed traveling the country, especially on their Harley Davidson. They rode a motorcycle in 47 states. Leo enjoyed woodworking in his garage. He also enjoyed the boating, and many people can thank Leo for teaching them to water ski.

Leo is survived by his wife Sherry Bradley of Armstrong, Iowa; stepdaughter Mishalee Bradley of Huxley, Iowa; and step-grandchildren Skyler, Taysen, Shaylee, Bryden, and Telyn. He is also survived by his siblings Darlene Bradley of Columbia Heights, Minnesota, Marsha (John) Rink of Lake Crystal, Minnesota, and Elaine (Al) Leighton of Des Moines, Iowa; his nieces Kayla, Zoe, Shelby, and Delilah; and his nephews Jacob and Logan.

Leo is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Donna Bradley and Karen Bradley, and brother Deryl Bradley.
