North Union High School crowned its 2026 Homecoming King and Queen on Thursday, September 23, as Greyson Colegrove and Cloey Anderson received the evening’s top honors. Rain forced the cancellation of the annual Homecoming parade in Armstrong and moved the coronation ceremony to the high school gymnasium. Despite the gloomy weather, Warrior pride filled the gym as the royal court was announced. Pictured with Queen Cloey Anderson are queen candidates Emma Preston, Maisey Bierstedt, Addy Rolling, Ainsely Ulrich and Alyssa Welbig. King candidates included Gabe Whaley, Cooper Hoye, Casey Rezac, Max Merrill and Caden Zotz. More Homecoming photos can be found on pages 4 and 5 of this week’s issue.

The North Union volleyball team honored their four seniors during senior night held on Tuesday, September 22nd.
