Mar. 28, 1949 — Oct. 18, 2022. Mary Magdalene Fox Patterson born in Bancroft, Ia and a longtime resident of Emily MN, died peacefully at home surrounded by her sister Kate and stepson Jason. Preceded in death by her husband Arthur, her parents Wilbur and Anne, brothers Gene, Jim, John, Bill, Roger, Bernie, Dick and Jerry. She is survived by her step sons Jason and Eric, sisters Joan Harper (Jerry) and Catherine Fox, brothers David (Jean), Larry, Joseph (Cathy), Michael (Mary Jo), Patrick (Rita), many nieces and nephews. She was a model patient on how to handle her cancer diagnosis. Always cheerful, always grateful for the care she was getting. A special mention to her sister Kate and stepson Jason who came to be with Mary to attend to her needs. Mary is described as fun loving, ready to share a laugh with everyone. She was a legendary bingo and card player and still remains the family’s champion farkle player.
At Mary’s request there will be no service.
She’ll be missed by family and her many friends. God rest her soul.
