A celebration of life was held for Jason Green on August 26, 2022 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Armstrong, IA, with Father Paul Kelly as the Officiant. Jason was laid to rest at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Armstrong.
Jason Green, the son of William Thomas and Arlis (Dreismeier) Green, was born June 4, 1981, in Fairmont, Minnesota. He passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at Methodist Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa at the age of 41 years.
Jason received his education and graduated from Armstrong-Ringsted High School in 2000. He then attended AIB College in Des Moines where he joined a Fraternity and made some lifelong friends. He graduated from there in 2002.
Jason was employed with M&M Sales out of Des Moines right out of college. He then moved to Mason City and worked at Principal Financial Group for 10 years.
In his free time, Jason enjoyed golfing, playing pool, singing karaoke and was an avid Michigan Wolverines fan. Some of his favorite times were the Green family vacation to Florida, visiting the World Golf Hall of Fame, and his trip to Washington DC.
He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Armstong.
Left to cherish Jason’s memory are his mother Arlis Green of Armstrong; his siblings, Brian (Dawn) Green of Sioux Falls, SD ; Jodi (Dale) Moore of Mason City, IA; nieces and nephews, Megan Green (special friend Niki); Katie Green; Brandon Moore (special friend Stephanie), Kyle Moore; great nieces and nephews Silas, Slayter, and Harleigh, 15 aunts and uncles, and 26 cousins.
Preceding Jason in death were his father, Bill, Grandpa and Grandma Dreismeier, and Grandpa and Grandma Green.
